Plane Month, Part 1, Fiat G 55, Revell, 1:72, Flugzeugmonat Teil 1

O.k. a few words to "Plane Month". I haven`t built any planes since 25 or more years. This one is from my youth, built in the 80´s of the last century. I found it together with a Me 109 in my parents cellar a few months ago. I think it is a Fiat, made by Revell. If you`ve got any suggestions concerning the Type of plane I would be grateful if you will tell me. I will follow the suggestion from Paul (Plasticwarrior) to build a wreck as a marker.

Ein paar Sätze zum "Flugzeugmonat". Ich habe seit über 25 Jahren kein Flugzeug mehr gebaut. Dieses hier ist eines aus meiner Jugendzeit, ich glaube eine Fiat von Revell, gebaut in den 80érn des letzten Jahrhunderts. Wenn jemand eine Idee hat, um welchen Typ es sich tatsächlich handelt würde ich mich über eine kurze Nachricht freuen. Wie Paul "Palsticwarrior" vorgeschlagen hat, werde ich ein Wrack als Geländestück bauen.

8 th Army, Esci, Update

The first post today is about the progress with the 8th Army. The painting is finished and the figures were washed. A light drybrush will follow.

But now to something totally different. My decals from Peddinghaus arrived yesterday and they´re looking great. I painted my Cromwell and Sherman with "Glänzer", I think it is known as "Future" in english. Today I will put the decals on the kits.

Hier ein kleines Update meiner Briten. Die Lackierung ist fertig und ich habe mit GW-Tuschen die Vertiefungen betont. Nun kommt noch ein leichtes Bürsten und fertig.

Aber zu was völlig anderem: Meine Decals von Peddinghaus sind gestern gekommen und sie sehen großartig aus. Ich habe meinen Sherman und den Cromwell mit "Glänzer" bearbeitet und heute kommen die Decals drauf.

Sherman, Armourfast, 1:72 - Der 200´ste Post!

I posted last week the pictures of the T 34. I mentioned, that I bought two kits and today I will show you the other one, a Sherman. Not as bad as the T 34 but also not the moste detailed Tank. But take alook by yourself. After a primary coat (Olive Drab) I painted it with Vallejo "U.S. Dark Green". Now I wait for the decals from Peddinghaus. They told me that the parcel is on its way, so I hope to go on this week.

By the way: Yipiyaaehh... the 200th post!

Ich habe EUch ja letze Woche den T 34 vorgestellt und erwähnt, dass ich zwei Bausätze gekauft hatte. Hier also der andere, ein Sherman. Macht Euch ein eigenes Bild, aber er ist deutlich besser als der T 34 (wenn auch nicht "Superdetailliert"). Nach einer Grundierung (Olive Drab) habe ich Ihn mit Vallejo "U.S. Dark Green" lackiert. Nun warte ich auf die Decals von Peddinghaus, aber die sind schon verschickt. Ich hoffe also, diese Woche weiter machen zu können.

8 th Army, Esci / Italeri - Revell, U.S. Infanterie, Caesar, 1:72

U.S. Infanterie, Esci, Revell, Atlantic, 1:72

The U.S. Boys are ready for action. Got a last wash and a additional drybrush. Now I will put them on bases. It is my second platoon for the Behind-Omaha Game. I also ordererd some SHQ Figures for the heavy mortar section.

Nach einem erneuten Tuschen und Bürsten sind die U.S. Boys einsatzbereit. Sie kommen nun auf Bases und sind Teile meiner zweiten Einheit für Behind Omaha. Für die schwere Mörserabteilung habe ich Figuren von SHQ bestellt.

Cromwell, Armourfast, 1:72

The Cromwell is painted now. I used again Vallejo`s "Russian Uniform", an advice by Wiking for painting British vehicles. Thanks, Wiking!Now the work is stopped because I´m waiting for the decals I ordered yesterday. I also ordered some storage stuff to put it on the tank.

Der Cromwell ist lackiert. Ich habe wieder Vallejo´s "Russian Uniform" benutzt, wie bei allen meinen britischen Fahrzeugen. Der Tip für die Farbwahl kam von Wiking, besten Dank nochmal an Dich dafür! Jetzt geht es erst mal nicht weiter, weil ich auf die Decals warte, die ich bestellt habe. Ich habe auch noch einiges an Ausrüstung geordert, die noch auf den Panzer soll.

Matador & 5.5. inch Gun, Airfix, 1:76

Yesterday I finished my last buisness journey of the year. I hope to get more time for the hobby in the next weeks. Today I want to show you the Matador from Airfix. I painted it with Olive Drab from Tamiya as primer and then Valejo "Russian Uniform". Now the decals will be aplicated, followed by a wash with diluted oil colours and a drybrush. The roof isn´t glued because the Driver has to be painted. I took the figure of the kit but swapped the head. The gun needs a layer of paint. This Gun is for Paul`s "Month of the Guns" - Sorry, I´m one day late ;-)

Nachdem ich gestern die letzte Dienstreise des Jahres beendet habe, hoffe ich, nun wieder mehr Zeit fürs Hobby zu haben.
Heute ein paar Bilder vom Matador. Grundiert mit "Olive drab" von Tamiy folgte die Lackierung mit "Russian Uniform" von Valejo. Jetzt folgen die Decals, Tuschen mit Ölfarben und ein Bürsten. Das Dach ist noch nicht aufgeklebt, weil der Fahrer noch fehlt. Ich werde die Figur aus dem Bausatz nehmen, habe aber den Kopf ausgetauscht. Die Kanone ist noch nicht fertig lackiert.
