WH 40 K, Update!

While Painting the britsih infantry I used the time when the colour is drying to go on with my "Imps" for Warhammer. Not finished, of course, but a nice change...

The Englishmen should be finished during this week, as well as the germans. I keep you informed. And sorry for not commenting your beautiful blogs the last days, but I was "offline" as our "village-net-knot" was out of order :-(

WH 40 k, The rest of my new stuff!

Today I want to show you the rest of my new (old) stuff from WH 40 K I purchased last week. I think I know what to do for the rest of the year. We want to start a campaign in September so my Summer will be busy...

Warhammer 40 k, New Stuff

I got a big parcel full of WH 40 k Stuff. About 80 figures, cannons, a Leman Russ and a Transporter. Here you can see the first "bag" I opened. There are two more. All is "used" some are prime painted and the Tanks are build but not painted. Mostly Imps and some Catachans. A lot of work....

But first I have to finish some projects. Still to come about 70 WK 2 Minis and another Landing Ship...

Cadian HQ, Games Workshop, update

After working 14 day without a break I was too tired to build or paint. But yesterday I continued my work on these Figures. I was looking for a colour mix and tested a lot. As I prefer 1:72 WW 2 as topic, I wanted to give them a touch of that period. At last I decides that I use a mix of "Britsh uniform", "Fieldblue" and "German Fieldgrey". Now the "real" paintjob will be done ;-)

Because I was "offline" the last days I really don´t know about the blogger-problems. I´m not able to give comments. Is this problem new? Have you got the same problems? I´m sorry that I was not able to comment your nice work on your blogs!

EDIT: I found out that I´ve got problems concerning the comments only when using the IE. With Chrome I´m able to comment. So we will meet on your Blogs again ;-)

Cadian HQ, Games Workshop

As mentioned yesterday I found a Toy Store in a small town nearby my holiday place with a small range of Games Workshop Products. I couldn`t resist to buy this Command Unit for my imperial troops. Because I had only my "basic holiday unit" with me, consisting of a small box with plastic glue, a sharp knife, a cutter and some sand paper, I only build them. The painting will follow. Beside these figures I started two more kits, the Pictures will follow the next days.

Rambozo the Clown

It`s carnival. And in my region it is a real serious theme. You find people in masquerades all over and you have to decide if you join or leave the town for a week ;-) Yesterday my wife was "op jück" as we say here, she was on a carnival party last night and I choose to stay home because of the kids. But I want to join the madness in my own way, so I painted Rambozo the clown. Seems like it is carnival on Catachan as well.

Catachaner, Update (W.I.P.)

Yesterday I reworked the Catachans. I tried to cut of the mould lines and repainted these parts and some details. A light wash with ink was the next step. Still W.I.P.
And I finished the first half of my 8 th Army. Pictures will follow.

Catachaner

I was curious about the WH 40 K universe and when I found a troop of Catachans on ebay I bid for them. It was a troop of 18 Figures and I paid 4,50 € plus shipping. A lot of them were painted but a few were only prime coated black. Here you find my first attempts in this scale, because I never done something larger then 20 mm. Still work in Progress, obviously, but I like them.

This is half of the lot I bought. You can see, some of them were painted. I will rework them later!
