Jeep & Trailer, Hasegawa, Update

As I have to finish some paintjobs for customers my own projects have to wait. Nevertheless I continued the work on this Jeep. The Headlights and rear lamps were added and the first decals were fixed. I hope to finish it tonight with a wash and a following drybrush. But we will see, because first there are some U.S. Infanterie and German Wehrmacht wich I promised to paint until next week.

Deutsche Infanterie, Matchbox, 1:76, W.I.P.

I was asked if I could paint some German Infantry Minis from Matchbox. Fortunately I had some in my stocks. The first two lines are nearly finished. They need a little drybrush. On the picture, they are still wet from the washing. The figures in the last line need a little more work.

NOTE: I will do this blog from now on only in English. I think that 60 % of my readers are from abroad and most of my german visitors will be able to read my english gibbering.

Sherman, Armourfast, 1:72, Finish

The sherman is finished. I drybrushed the kit first with U.S. Dark Green and highlighted the edges with "Russian Uniform" than followed by another light drybrush with light grey. Ready for action...

Today an update of my progress concerning the Sherman. On the first picture you can see the tank after coating it with "future" and putting the decals on. The other pictures show the tank after washing it with "GW" Devlon Mud.

O.k. today only one picture. Its the trailer. I haven`t found the time to paint the wheels.

Here you see a Jeep from Hasegawa. Painted with Tamiya "Olive Drab 2" and Revell "Anthrazit". Still a little bit to do. A nice little kit and the intersting part is the trailer I haven´t built yet.

Heute mal ein Jeep von Hasegawa. Lackiert wurde mit Tamiya "Olive drab 2" aus der Sprühdose und mit Revell "Anthrazit" für die Räder. Es ist noch einiges zu tun, aber es ist ein netter kleiner Bausatz. Fein ist auch der Anhänger, den ich noch bauen muss.

Plane Month Part 2, Me 109 BF, Revell, 1:72

Today part 2 of my planes. Here you can see the other old plane I built years ago. I remebmer that I was very proud to paint it that way. At the stern there is still the string where it was fixed under the roof of my room that days. The clou is that I was able to get my hands on this kit again in an online-auction last week (only 1 € and postage). Now I will build this kit and we will see, if there is any progress in my skills ;-) So I can contribute a "new" kit to plane month!

Hier ist mein zweiter Beitrag zum Flugzeugmonat. Die Me 109 ist auch über 25 Jahre alt. Ich weiß aber noch, wie stolz ich damals wegen der Lackierung war. Am Heck ist sogar noch der Faden, mit das Flugzeug unter meiner Kinderzimmerdecke befästigt war.Der Witz an der Sache ist, dass ich den Bausatz letzte Woche nochmal ersteigern konnte (1 € plus Porto). Jetzt werden wir sehen, ob sich meine Fähigkeiten verbessert haben ;-) Also kann ich auch einen "neuen" Bausatz zum Flugzeugmonat beisteuern.
