Morris & Bofors, Airfix 1:76

A fellow in the Behind Omaha Forum sold a lot of Airfix Modells. As I need some Anti-Air-Power for my B.O.- Forces I couldn´t resist to buy this Morris with the Bofor AA Gun. It is perfectly build and basically painted. So I will have what I need with a little painting effort.
Thanks to "Plasticwarrior", that`s the nick of the mate in the Forum!

Behind Omaha Game from 3rd of January

On last Monday we played a game "Behind Omaha". I was very late and when I arrived, the battle was in the last stage. The battlefield was covered with destroyed tanks. I joined with reinforcments worth 400 Points (1 Jagdpanther, 1 StuG 3, 1 Kübelwagen, 1 Mororcycle, 1 Pak 40 and 2 Infantry-Platoons. The opponents (von Auerbergh & Muradin) also get reinforcements worth 400 Points. They played the U.S. and britsh troops and B.S., Deaddragon and I played the german side. At the end, the Germans win.

The pictures were made by von Auerbergh and he was so kind to allow to use them here: You will find more pictures and a game report on his Blog: von Auerbergh

I told you about our game on Monday. One of my Team-members offered these two M 10 wich he had no use for. So I bought them. As they are build and coloured I can straight go on with the Paintwork. I like the M 10. The kits lokkoing beautiful. Later I will post a comparison with the M 36 from Armourfast.

U.S. Infanterie, SHQ, Caesar, 1:72

As there are rumors that I planned for 2011 only knights ;-) I have to say:NO! WW2 ist still the favorite theme of my choice. Here some U.S. Figures I´m working at. A Mortar-Team from SHQ and the rest is from Caesar: U.S. Infantry-Set 2. As I´m very busy this week (one week of holiday and in the bureau it looks like I´ve been away for month)I don`t know when I can go on.
By the way: Yesterday I played another game of Behind Omaha. It was very nice and I hope to get some pictures of the fight. I forgot my camera but some of the fellows made a few.

And now to something totally different....Knights, First Projekt 2011

When you follow this Blog you could see that all the posts of the past deal with warfare of the 20 th century. Now for the first time I will show you a new Projekt from the Middle ages.
The reason why? My son starts to interest in Kinghts and on the 1st of January he asked if I could build a castele and give him some knights to play with. Fortunately I had a view figures in my Stock. So we started to build a castle and I started to paint the Minis. Here speed and a colorful style are most important, because you know the impatience of children and he likes colours. I think, for 2 days work it is a good start. As the boy is on holiday for the rest of this week I will present the finished castel at weekend. (I hope so)!

As a new point in this Blog I added a statistic field at the bottom. I want to know how many figures I will do this year.
