Sd. KfZ, 251/9 Ausf. C, Revell, 1:72

Back in town...
Greetings, my friends. After a few days of silence I want to show you a new Project I started this one during my one week holiday at the baltic sea. The Sd.Kfz. 251/9 with the short barrel gun. Still W.I.P. but a great kit from Revell. O.K. the tracks went on my nerves, but only because I hadn`t the patience for these single part track-segmnents. All fits good and I think this one will reinforce my troops soon.
In a small toy shop I surprisingly found some WH 40 K Stuff and bought a Cadian Command Troop. But this will followe tomorrow.

And welcome to svinehunden & kingsleypark!
Nice to have you here!

  1. Welcome back!!! I was begining to wonder where you were.
Nice looking h-track. Those single part track segments are a strange idea..i much prefer the rubber tracks.
    Greetings

  3. Good job there :)

I do like the Revell stuff, just finished building a StuG in 1:72 myself, tricky tracks yes but they look better in detail than rubber (in my opinion) and take paint better.

Keep up the good work :)

  4. Hope u enjoyed your break.

I have sworn loudly many times while trying to get the tracks on an Airfix kit to stay togather. Never tried a Revell kit though.

Looking forward to seeing that kit painted up!

p.s: And I also prefer fast build kits!! It's the tracks I hate in regular models!

  7. Thanks, my friends.
Concerning to the tracks I have to say that there are several Tutorials how to do it right, but nevertheless it´s always a fight and I wasn`t able to fix them right at the 4 or five kits I´ve build with them so far.
