My workbench is full of kits, but nevertheless some figures are still waiting for finishing. Here you can see again a bunch of Matchbox 8th army. It is an custom job, nearly finished, only a few details and a drybrush will follow.
And welcome to Peter.Bonami! I hope you like it!
They look a treat Mork, great stuff.
AntwortenLöschenThere very well done so far, need a favour, just got into 20mm WW2, is there any painting guide for the early years up to 1943 available.
AntwortenLöschenThanks, my friends!
AntwortenLöschen@Lurker: I reccomend this link with an overview of camo-schemes and there is one guide for early war as well: http://www.artizandesigns.com/painting-guides.php
Yes I like them! ;-) I've got also a box of them, somewhere in my cave :-D
AntwortenLöschenThey're very well painted. Can you tell me what colours you've used?
And thanks for the link!
Greetings
Peter
Revell are a bit unlikely to re-release them given that they've got regular 8th Army and Scottish 8th Army already out. Both of those sets are pretty great though, so that's a plus.
AntwortenLöschenThanks again. Yes, these are very good figures and I hope that Revell will bring them back soon!
AntwortenLöschen@Peter: Sorry mate, I missed your question. I used Revell "Sand" and Vallejo "Dark Sand" for the uniforms except a few wich I painted "U.S. Field Drab" (Pullovers). Helmets are Revell "Sand", Webbing and Socks are "German Camo Beige" from Vallejo.
AntwortenLöschenThanks for the info!
