"Rebasing" my German Infantry, Part III
Yesterday I reworked the last of my German Troops for the "Behind Omaha" Game. Now some static grass will follow and the Mortar in the right gets a rack. Then the Germans are finished and the British Troops will follow. Really, a long term project :-(

Catachaner, Update (W.I.P.)
Yesterday I reworked the Catachans. I tried to cut of the mould lines and repainted these parts and some details. A light wash with ink was the next step. Still W.I.P.
And I finished the first half of my 8 th Army. Pictures will follow.
At last a welcome to In Chigh!

8th Army, Matchbox, 1:76
Today an update of my work on the 8th Army. 6 more are nearly finished. A last drybrush and a few details, like the grenade and that´s it. I like this set from Matchbox. Nice figures, well detailed and interesting poses. Now the first kilt in my life will follow soon....
And welcome to Greg!

New Stuff! And a look in the box of Zvezda`s T34
Yesterday a long awaited parcel arrived with new Stuff. It contained 2 Kits from Zvezda and new Figures. Here we are:
1 Tiger (Zvezda)
1 T 34 (Zvezda)
1 German Machine Gun Tema (Zvezda)
1 Russian Machine Gun Team (Zvezda)
1 Japanese 70 mm Gun (Waterloo 1815)
1 French Knights (Revell)
1 Livonia Knight (Zvezda)
1 U.S. Rangers (Pegasus)
1 German Artillery (Revell)
I was amazed! This one is a "Snap Kit" without gluing needed? Wow, but we will see after the assembling, if the pieces fit together.

German Infantry, Matchbox, 1:76
Three more finished. Thats it with the germans for the next week. Now I have to go on with the 32 Matchbox 8´th Army Boys...
Catachaner
I was curious about the WH 40 K universe and when I found a troop of Catachans on ebay I bid for them. It was a troop of 18 Figures and I paid 4,50 € plus shipping. A lot of them were painted but a few were only prime coated black. Here you find my first attempts in this scale, because I never done something larger then 20 mm. Still work in Progress, obviously, but I like them.
This is half of the lot I bought. You can see, some of them were painted. I will rework them later! |

Rebasing my Behind Omaha Troops, Part II
Yesterday I continued the reworking of the bases of my German Forces for the "Behind Omaha" Game. I think they look much better now. A few of them need some static grass, but then they´re finished. I would say, 2/3 are rebased now. Sorry, I haven`t reocginzed that some pictures are blurred. Perhaps I can make some new ones this weekend.

British Commandos, Matchbox, 1:76
I´ve managed to base my british Commandos from Matchbox. They also got a last drybrush. Nice Figures, they make me think about my childhood long, long ago ;-) No I´ve got a few more of them, so it will be a special unit for my "Behind Omaha" Forces.
